It's the story of an orphaned Jewish girl who becomes Queen of Persia, and discovers that her people are to be annihilated by royal decree. She is forced to trust God through frightening circumstances, with the survival of her entire race seemingly on her shoulders.

Esther is a full length, 2-hour musical with 15 vocal numbers accomodating casts from 13–40+.
Accompaniment CDs are also available, including a music-only version and a background-vocals version with ensemble voices to back up your soloists.
This will enable groups with limited music resources to perform Esther.

There are up to 23 featured roles with significant “moments”. There are also a flexible number of ensemble roles that involve speaking, solo singing lines, and dancing.
